Above and below are shots of a  tribute to Iñigo Egiluz, a 24-year-old aid worker from the Basque Country killed while working in Colombia in 1999 (El Pais), by Julio Arriaga on Avenida Sabino Arana (named after the father of Basque nationalism – WP), in Bilbao, Spain.
A video of the boards which comprise the piece (or served as a first draft) can be found at the very bottom.

Askatasuna

This is a new mural in support of the Basque country and in particular political prisoners, unveiled today as part of Féile 202 in Beechmount. The designs to the left and the right are described in a comment below – thanks BasqueMurals.

Guernica

A 2007 recreation of Picasso’s Guernica (WP) on the international wall, with an added (2009) reference to the deaths in Gaza.

Partial frame (missing on bottom). To the left of this mural. Takes the place of the Bodenstown mural.
