“Every turn of the wheel is a revolution”. Mural by KVLR outside The John Hewitt (pub) in the city centre. The John Hewitt was set up in 1999 by Belfast Unemployed Resource Centre (BURC | Belfast Media) and the mural was painted in 2000 (Turkington). This makes it one of the earliest pieces of street art in Belfast, if not the earliest.
