Above is a shot of the eighth of eleven panels in a long piece in Thorndyke Street. The eleven tell the story of unionism from Cromwell to Cluan Place. This eighth panel shows UDA paramilitaries (the UVF was formed in 1965, the UDA in 1971) standing guard in front of a barricade of sand-bags.
Below is a wide shot of 10 of the 11 panels in this piece; the left-most ‘Lord Protector’ panel is not shown.
